Council-owned Elstree Studios has had another glorious year of award-winning success for productions made on its stages including, Strictly Come Dancing and Netflix drama The Crown.
The Studios pay over £1.5 million to the council every year…money used to pay for local services.
That’s the equivalent of 20% of the council tax saved for every home in Hertsmere.
Indeed since the council run Studios company was created in 2007, Hertsmere has received over £16 million from the Studios.
That’s over £400 for every single home across the borough.
The Studios also bring jobs to our towns and business to our local economy. A huge ongoing success story for Hertsmere and our residents.
