A leisure centre in Potters Bar is recieving major investment and will benefit from a major refurbishment as a result. Work has already begun on Furzefield Leisure Centre's upgrade, which will see improvements made to the studios, spa and gym. A mezzanine floor is going to be installed.
Furzefield Leisure Centre, which is located in Potters Bar, is sharing £2 million investment with the Bushey Grove Leisure Centre in Bushey.
Conservative Councillor Caroline Clapper, Leisure, Culture and Health Portfolio Holder said “We at Hertsmere are committed to providing facilities that encourage our residents to pursue a healthy lifestyle and this fantastic refurbishment programme at Furzefield and Bushey Grove will enable us to achieve that goal.”
