Goods for Good (Global), founded by Rosalind Bluestone, is a local charity based in Borehamwood. Founded in 2014 the charity delivers overstocked goods donated by British industry and second-hand goods from the local community to refugees and vulnerable communities around the world, preventing these goods from being incinerated or being sent to landfill.
They have recently hit the £14 million mark! That's over 1173 tonnes of overstocked goods distributed to 12 countries around the world that have helped over a million people since they started.
As the current Ambassador for Goods for Good, Cllr. Gary Silver said “I thoroughly enjoy assisting Goods for Good; from just a small office, Rosalind has grown the charity into a huge force for good, helping people internationally and locally in Borehamwood.’
‘They have achieved so much with such limited resources, which shows what anyone can achieve with determination to succeed’
